A few weekends ago my friend Maddie and I had the chance to venture up to Timberwolf Lodge in Northern Michigan with our church. The youth group had a winter retreat and we volunteered to serve dinner to about 300 students. That's a lot of teenagers. That's a lot of Taylor Swift. That's a lot of food. It was a good release of stress after finals week and I don't think any group of teenagers could have been more grateful for mass produced food. Two days wasn't long, but it was long enough to soak in the beauty of the great white north.
